Go Fish is the first card game many of us learn to play. Go Wish could be the last.
Well, calling it a game (as the packaging does) is a stretch. It’s a deck of 36 playing cards designed “to give you an easy, even entertaining way to think and talk about how you want to be treated” as you’re about to die. The cards describe things that research has shown to be important to people as the end approaches, for example, “to be free from pain,” “to die at home,” “to be kept clean.” You rank their importance to you, selecting and sorting cards until you’ve picked your top 10.
